Location: The West Bank barrier, Jerusalem, Israel, 2003

One of several Banksy works on the West Bank barrier. By substituting a weapon with a bunch of flowers, Banksy portrays peace and hope in place of destruction. The work appears on the front and back cover of Banksy Wall and Piece, the widely popular 2005 compilation book featuring the artist's work. The original stencil-cut for the image was displayed at the Barely Legal exhibition in Los Angeles in 2006 and also at Santa’s Ghetto, Carnaby Street, London in 2005.
